4TH PRE-CHRISTMAS CONVENTION 2010
Like Paul the apostle, “I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. It is right for me to feel this way about all of you, since I have you in my heart; for whether I am in chains or defending and confirming the gospel, all of you share in God’s grace with me” Phil 1: 3 – 7

Once again the Lord has done it again, proving His faithfulness by granting us success to vision He has given us at BDGM and Fountain of Life Chapel International.

In Lam. 3: 22 “Because of the LORD'S great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. I say to myself, “The LORD is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.” The LORD is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him; it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord”

We ended our 4th Pre-Christmas Convention, with the theme: NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE BEFORE HIM, at Adidome yesterday with Thanksgiving service. We started on Tuesday, 14th with Free Medical Clinic led by Dr Francis Sullibie and supported 1 Medical assistant, and 4 nurses from the Volta Regional Hospital during which 287 people including women and children were treat of various diseases namely: malaria, diarrhea, typhoid fever, chest infection, stomach ache, migraine headache, bilharzias, High blood pressure etc. Medicines worth GHC2,800 donated by a Christian pharmacist use during the clinic. While lunch and snack at the cost of GHC120 was donated by a Christian Restaurant operator.

All 28 branches came together for the 5 days convention. During the Convention members were divided into groups and after morning teaching the groups gather to discuss what they learned each group delegates 2 people to present report on what they learnt.

On Friday at 16 hours GMT a total of 164 souls were baptized by immersion into membership. More than 200 people gave their lives to Jesus. On Saturday we held Communion Service during which 948 members took the Holy Communion. Thanks to PCC for the communion tray which served a purpose.

The youth played soccer in the afternoon of Saturday after which the over 1200 hundred members who came to the convention marched through the principal street of Adidome.

The Convention was climaxed with Thanksgiving on Sunday during which 5 field leader had their marriage consecrated. Also 5 Field Leaders were commissioned as Pastor and another 5 Field Leaders were ordained and robbed. Also 158 orphans were there on Sunday and were each given 10 Kilo of Rice and GHC10 Cedis for their Christmas celebration.

Once again thank all for unwavering supports both local and international which made it possible for us to be a blessing to many.
